Some of what occurs on a typical on-site call includes technician spin-time, while he or she waits for the icon to quit spinning around while the computer is doing something. If we have the unit in our shop we do not charge for spin-time!

How Long Does Service Take?
There are too many variables to set a fixed service time. We generally say 3 to 5 business hours but 50% of our on-site, in-home visits are less. It just depends. When you schedule work, ask the technician for a verbal estimate of what he or she thinks. We cannot guarantee it, but we will work hard to meet it.

We can set up your computer for our Cloud Backups product, giving you a great off-site, redundant, and secure image of your computer (everything is backed up, not just files and pictures). Preventive Maintenance can be as simple or expansive as you wish. It is intended to periodically check your computer’s (or network’s) health, performance, and security. We perform diagnostics on your hardware and software and let you know if anything needs to be addressed. The PM, as we call it, can be done at our location or yours, and is often done via remote access. We also offer scheduled PMs for ongoing maintenance.

How Long Does Service Take?
There are too many variables to set a fixed service time. We generally say 3 to 5 business days but 80% of our inside bench jobs are less. About 20% are done in the same day. It just depends. Some of our competitors will say same day service, which if they are able to do it, usually indicates a much lower level of service. As a matter of fact, we ask you if you want us to back up the machine before we start the work, which is a good thing, but that will add to the service time. You can ask your tech for an idea of when it will be available and we will do our best to meet it.
